Veronica is an artist from Ohio. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 2015 with a BFA in 2 dimensional studies and since then has continued her career in painting.

Veronica aims to educate and expose the marvels of the natural world through her work. Her painting is a combination of digital and acrylic painting. She uses an iPad to digitally paint an image, which is then printed out on archival Epson paper and then further painted on with acrylic paint. Sometimes the process is reversed and acrylic is in the beginning stages of the artwork.

Veronica enjoys doing as much field sketching as possible so packing an iPad keeps her equipment light. She only paints the nature and wildlife she has seen, which makes her work personal. The further intent of her work is to open discussions about nature but also conservation.

She stands by her promise to conservation by using environmentally safe products and practices. She uses water soluble plastics, wood, paper, and PVA glue which is also water soluble. Veronica is committed to reducing acrylic waste down the drain and recycling as much paper and wood products as possible.
